Where can I buy Nex Playground? UK, Canada, Australia, India

Your kids have watched a dozen videos of families leaping around in front of the same little camera box. Then you search for it in your own country and get import sites, a currency converter and a warning about fake sellers. Is it even sold where you live?

The short answer: Where can I buy Nex Playground? In the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland, according to Nex's own site and help pages. Germany should follow online by the end of 2026, news reports say. Australia, India and the rest of the EU have no announced date as of 31 October 2026.

Prices and availability checked on 31 October 2026. We make Fun Motion Labs, so weigh our entry with that in mind. We don't sell Nex Playground, and every country fact here comes from Nex's own pages or from news reports we name.

Where can I buy Nex Playground? Country by country

Nex Playground's country picker lists four countries, and Nex's own web store ships only to US addresses (Nex help centre). In the other three, you buy it from shops.

The US price is from Nex's shop page on 29 October 2026; the rest was checked on 31 October. Plans come from PocketGamer.biz (September 2026) and Techbook (October 2026), so treat them as plans. LeapMove is a different camera box for the TV, made by LeapFrog; there's more on it below. You can read how we check our facts.

Is Nex Playground available in the UK, and what does it cost?

Yes. Nex Playground has been on sale in the UK and Ireland since June 2026, Nex's first launch outside North America (Nex release, May 2026). The Nex Playground UK price was £269.99 on Nex's UK page, and its Irish page showed €319.

The UK stockists Nex lists are Amazon UK, Argos and Smyths, and its June release also named TikTok Shop. We've kept to the shops Nex names.

At launch, Nex priced the Play Pass, which opens the wider game library, at £90 a year or £45 for three months (€99 or €49). The starter bundle is rated PEGI 3. That rating covers the included games, not every Play Pass game. We work through the first-year cost of a Nex Playground in a separate guide.

Is Nex Playground sold in Canada?

Yes. Nex Playground has been in Canadian shops since autumn 2025, Nex and the NHL announced. Nex's site has a Canadian version in English and French. We couldn't open a page with a Canadian dollar price, so we haven't printed one. For Nex Playground Canada prices, your usual retailer's own listing is the place to look.

Is Nex Playground available in Australia, India or the rest of Europe?

Not yet. As of 31 October 2026, Nex lists no store for Australia, India or any EU country other than Ireland. The next launches reported are Germany at the end of 2026, then Japan and South Korea in 2027.

Not being able to buy the toy that's in every video is its own small frustration. A straight answer at least saves the late-night searching.

Australia

When is Nex Playground coming to Australia? There's no announced date, and Australia isn't in the plans reported so far. So is Nex Playground available in Australia? It's not sold here yet, and Nex's site has no Australian store.

India

There's no Nex Playground India price, because Nex doesn't sell it in India. A rupee price you see online is a reseller's price, not Nex's.

Germany and the rest of Europe

Nex Playground Germany is the next planned launch. Techbook reported in October 2026 that it should reach selected online retailers by the end of 2026, at €319. Shops follow in 2027. The starter pack and Play Pass games have a USK 6 rating there. For France, Spain, Italy and the other EU countries, there's no Nex Playground Europe release date as of 31 October 2026.

Can I import a Nex Playground from the US?

Nex says a Nex Playground works overseas and runs on 100 to 240 volts, but its own web store ships only to US addresses. It also warns that network restrictions in some countries can stop updates and new games downloading (Nex help centre, February 2026).

Because the power supply is universal voltage, a plug adapter may be all you need. Games need the internet to download. Once downloaded, Nex says, they keep working offline. In some regions, firewalls or network rules may block software updates, and with them any new games.

Nex's pages don't say whether the warranty, returns or a Play Pass work from a country where it doesn't sell. They don't mention import duty either. We couldn't find these stated anywhere, so you could ask Nex before buying.

What can I get instead of Nex Playground in Australia or India?

If Nex Playground isn't sold where you live, the closest options are another camera box, a console dance game or motion games on a computer with a webcam. What you can buy depends on your country, so each entry says what we could check.

For a Nex Playground Australia alternative, LeapMove is the one camera box here with an Australian page from its maker. For a Nex Playground alternative in India, the options sold online are the simplest to check. You can see at checkout whether the store takes your country. Our round-up of Nex Playground alternatives compares the options side by side.

LeapFrog LeapMove

LeapMove is a camera box that plugs into the TV, with 25 preloaded games (LeapFrog). LeapFrog has LeapMove pages in four countries, including Australia. Kids run, kick and jump, based on the maker's description. Its US page says ages 4 to 7; the Australian page says "ages 4+". Best for: one 4 to 7 year old, where LeapFrog sells it. Watch out for: you need a Windows or Mac computer and internet to register it and download more games.

Just Dance on a console you already have

Just Dance 2026 Edition plays on Switch, Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. Up to six people can dance. A free phone app can turn your phone's camera into a full-body tracker, but only for one player (Ubisoft). Best for: families who already own one of those consoles. Watch out for: group play uses phones held in hand, and the price differs by platform and region.

Zazti

Zazti has free webcam motion games that run in a web browser, for ages 3 and up. It says no video is ever uploaded. Best for: trying webcam play tonight with a preschooler, at no cost. Watch out for: it's a website, so you need to be online, and it doesn't say which countries it serves.

Starri, from Nex

Nex sells one of its games outside the box. Starri is a webcam rhythm game on Steam for Windows and Mac. It was $17.99 on the US Steam store. Best for: a music-loving family with a laptop. Watch out for: the page shows no age rating, it needs a Steam account, and we didn't check which countries' Steam stores list it.

Fun Motion Labs (ours)

We make Fun Motion Labs, so weigh our entry with that in mind. Our motion games download to a Windows or Mac computer with a webcam, then play offline. The internet is needed only to download and for online multiplayer. You buy each game once, with no subscription, and need about 1.2 to 1.8 m (4 to 6 ft) of clear space. Tracking and voice commands run on your computer. Your webcam video is never saved or uploaded.

We launch in November 2026, and checkout opens at launch (our launch news). You can browse the games now. Best for: families with a Windows or Mac laptop who'd rather not add another box or a subscription. Watch out for: they're not on sale yet, there are no reviews yet, and they need a Windows or Mac computer.

On a bouncing-off-the-walls evening, our list of ways to burn energy indoors needs no box at all.

The camera box can stay in the videos for now. The rug in front of your own TV is the part you can use tonight.

FAQ

Will a Nex Playground from the US work in Australia or India?

Nex says it works overseas. It runs on 100 to 240 volts, so a plug adapter may be all you need, and downloaded games play without the internet. Nex also says network restrictions in some countries can block updates and new games. Its pages don't say whether the warranty or a Play Pass works from a country it doesn't sell in, so it's worth asking Nex first.

Are there Nex Playground stockists in Australia or India?

Not that Nex lists. As of 31 October 2026, Nex's site has no store or retailer list for Australia or India. Its own web store ships only to US addresses, so listings you find there come from other sellers. Nex's help centre has a form to be told when it ships to more countries.

How can I spot fake sellers of Nex Playground?

Nex's help centre asks Amazon shoppers to check that a listing is "sold by Amazon" or "sold by Nex Playground". It also says to beware of any seller pretending to be Nex. The surest route is a shop Nex names on one of its four country pages. Elsewhere, any listing deserves a second look.
